Mount Stuart Wedding
My last Mount Stuart Wedding was with Ashlea and Ross a few years ago. It was a hectic day with almost 200 guests and busy, busy feel to the day. Kelly and Davids wedding could not have been a greater contrast. Coming over to Scotland from Dallas the wedding was an intimate day for only very close friends and immediate family. This meant a beautiful relaxed leisurely stay at Mount Stuart House which allowed us to completely soak up the atmosphere of this beautiful building.
The build up was a lovely relaxed preperation on both sides (with David shooting a few games of snooker and the girls enjoying a little champagne) it was soon time for Kellys Dad to take her down to the fabulous marble chapel insdie Mount Stuart itself. After a lovely ceremony we retired to anther striking room for drinks and canpes. Then outdoors for our formal session of family pictures before exploring the amazing sourroundings with Kelly and David
While shooting, I had such unbelievable freedom from both the fantastic co ordinator Ricky and his team at Mount Stuart, and from Kelly and David themselves. We were having so much fun that I have to admit that I stayed at this wedding for much longer than I normally do. I also had a wee pang of jealousy when they emailed me the pictures from the “Dallas Wedding Party” a few weeks later. An absolutely lovely couple with two families that I had an blast with.
Days like these remind you why I love my job so much.
