Cameron House Wedding
Tracy and Billys Cameron House wedding was once of my absolute favourites of last year. Tracy has been a friend on the 1500 Photography Facebook page for a long time. She was always one of the first to like a post or a picture. I was touched when she asked me to shoot her wedding. It was an intimate and somewhat emotional day as all 3 of Tracys daughters were bridesmaids, not to mention, under one of the bridemaids dresses was Tracy and Billys first grandchild who would make an appearance just days later !
We started with the boys getting ready in their room at Cameron House. It doesn’t happen often but a scorching July day is possibly the last days of the year you would want to be wearing a kilt on. Billy was roasting ! We then made our way over to the girls in the bridal suite. Wow. Tracy dress looked absolutely stunning. Her 50’s style fascinator topped off a very elegant look and some of the shots we took in the room were simply gorgeous.
After a beautiful humanist ceremony it was time for a little relax and a mingle before making our way out into the summer sun for some lovely pictures. So sunny in fact that we had to take shade a few times during the pictures. Then back into the Board Room at Cameron House to rejoin the guests and enjoy a beautiful informal dinner with one or two short speeches to mark the occasion. It was one of the best days of the year for weather and, simply, just one of the best days. Thank you to Tracy and Billy and congratulations on becoming grandparents to little Finn just days later.
