Lodge on Loch Goil Wedding – Caroline & Kevin

What an amazing day. What an amazing venue. Caroline and Kevin had chosen to have their wedding at the Lodge on Loch Goil and what a fantastic choice they made.

The Lodge is a real hidden gem set on the banks of Loch Goil and with Kevin and Caroline making a stunning couple the day was a photographers dream.

The ceremony was held on the shores of the loch after which we took pictures at the boat house, on the viewing deck and in the treehouse.  Spoiled for choice!!!

A brilliant day with a lovely couple. 1500 Photography

Deja Vu – Second chance wedding photography by 1500

At 1500 Photography we are offering you something new.

A second chance to get the wedding pictures you desire.

Deja Vu

A ‘Deja Vu’ sitting gives you the chance to get the fantasy wedding images that weren’t possible or practical on your wedding day. Perhaps you never had a photographer at your wedding and feel you missed out. Perhaps it was dreadful weather and all your pictures had to be taken indoors.

Or maybe you feel like doing something daringly different like a Amanda’s  “Trash the Dress” style shoot, above.

Whatever your can imagine – we can photograph.

More Cameron House Wedding Pictures – Julie & Kevin

Now this was a really nice little wedding.
Of late all the weddings I had been shooting were big affairs with about 80 – 200 people at the wedding. Julie and Kevin’s day was smaller, intimate and so much more relaxed. We had plenty of time on the day and started off catching the lads at Cameron House as they milled about getting ready. We then headed for one of the lodges where Julie and the girls were putting their finishing touches together. As you can see below, Julie looked absolutely amazing, as did her two daughters – the cutest and best behaved flower-girls I’ve ever seen.

After the civil ceremony the couple mingled with their guests before heading outside for some pictures around Cameron House……then went back inside and mingled with their guests, then nipped back outside for their groups shots. All lovely and relaxed, all calm and easy, with no rushing about or urgency. A wonderful, leisurely day with some beautiful shots, great company and a lovely couple.

As a professional you are never supposed to have favourites……….but I would shoot this wedding again tomorrow, I loved it !!! Thank you Julie and Kevin x

More from Lee-Ann and Kierans Wedding

I haven’t really covered Lee-Ann and Kierans wedding in the blog as it took place towards the end of the year. We started off at Our Lady of Lourdes we then travelled up to Glenskirlie Castle for the reception. When we got to Glenskirlie the light began to fade fast but as we took a couple of shots on the ‘love seat’ at the back of the gardens Gillian spotted the dramatic skyline where the sun had just set. The slope up the little hill side was soft and muddy but Lee-Ann was very keen to get this shot. So we managed to negotiate a path for Lee-Ann and Kieran to make their way and as you can see from the result below we were rewarded with a stunning image (our shot of the year)

Since you have already seen some of the best images from the wedding I thought I would post a couple of ‘different’ shots that I really like. Shot 1 I love how the little boy is rocking back on his heels at being introduced to the flower girl, shot 2 was leaving the church after a quick photo session on the alter and the geusts bus had just pulled away and shots no3 and 4 were taken about 1 second apart – its just to let you see the guest ‘paparazzi’

You will see more of Lee-Ann and Kierans wedding soon as I have taken a shot from their wedding to be used as our advert in the Real Life Weddings magazine. Its a bit different so watch this space for an update.
