Winnock Hotel Wedding, Drymen – Bryan & Nicola

Just a lovely wedding.

I think Nicolas getting ready and bridal shots are some of the most beautiful I seen this year.  With Nicola and Bryan getting married at St Josephs in Milngavie we know we wouldn’t have a lot of scope for pictures at the church (it sits right on the main road) and that the Winnock Hotel would be full of the wedding guests. So it was very important to get some nice shots of Nicola at home, then of the couple at  Drymen. We managed to get both…..and then some.

Nicola was an absolutely stunning bride and had chosen a beautiful dress (and bridesmaids dresses), Bryan looked very much the part in his kilt and both had a great friendly personality which really comes though in the pictures. After a full mass at St Josephs we took a slight detour with just Nicola & Bryan to Balmaha before making our way back to shoot the last of the wedding pictures at the Winnock in Drymen. A great couple who were very generous and patient and gave us some brilliant images – thank you. Im just disappointed that it was too late to put some of their shots into this years awards. Roll on 2011 !!

Kilchurn Castle Wedding – Amanda & James

This wedding jumps the que a little bit, but what a wonderful day I had with Amanda and James at Kilchurn Castle, Loch Awe. A truly stunning, romantic Scottish venue for a brilliant family from Canada.  These guys had a bit of a traumatic build up to the wedding but the day itself could not have gone any better. Every little thing that could go right, went right. The weather, the setting and even the midges behaved !!

Everyone who attended the wedding was lovely from the parents, the bridesmaids and best men to the celebrant, video-ographer (RPL Weddings – very good incidently) and Wendy the wedding planner. It really was just ‘one of those perfect days’

With Amanda and James now back in Canada I have made up a little slide-show to pay tribute to one of the nicest weddings I have ever been involved in.
