Ana and Roberts Cameron House wedding got my year off to a very stylish beginning. Beautiful Ana is originally from Mexico but elected to come to Scotland, Roberts home, to be married (which is funny is you consider how many Scottish couples probably go to Mexico on honeymoon!) Getting married in Scotland is always a little dicey with the weather and getting married in Scotland in February is likely to mean only one thing – rain.
However, Ana LOVED it ! For once it was the photographer who was reticent about going out side as the bride reached for her umbrella and encouraged myself and Robert out by Loch Lomond. It transpires that despite her Mexican heritage Ana has been ‘acclimatised’ in Oregon where there weather is a bit more ‘Scottish’. Thankfully, as Cameron House has so many beautiful areas indoors, we were not stuck for pictures and finished the day with a lovely set of images. I really enjoy these more intimate weddings. you can have so much more fun with the guests and the whole day seems so much more relaxed. Thats not to say that the wedding is any less important or meaningful, it just means that the couple have less to stress about and can spend more time enjoying their day.
